Do you want to make a list of values in an Excel cell? Do you want to make a drop-down list to select values from a cell? ⏱️Learn how to do it in 1 minute!
1. Select the cell where you will make the drop-down list (in the example, it will be the orange cell):
2. Click the "Data" group on the ribbon, then click "Data Validation" :
3. Select the type of data that will be in the list (in our example we will choose "List" and make sure to leave the "Cell with drop-down list" option checked):
4. Type the values you want to appear in the drop-down list, separated by semicolons:
5. Click "OK" and check that your drop-down list is now working!
Use drop-down lists to make it easier to enter data into cells and also to ensure that only certain ranges of values are entered and not others.
